My name is Spiro Demian,
I was born in 1966 in Damascus, Syria. Since my childhood I have been a fund of all kinds of music. I spent hours and hours with my family listening to Arabic and Western art giants’ music.
The Oud instrument is the music instrument that always charmed me, because it is closely associated with the oriental music I love. I decided to learn to play it by myself, and I had it with daily training and a lot of diligence.
In 2015 I immigrated with my family to Canada and settled in Montreal where most of the Arab community lives. I met with a group of amateur and professional musicians. We formed a musical team where we managed to perform a concert at Emile Lugo Theater, which encouraged me to establish Spiro Music, the first project of its kind in Canada and North America.

Spiro Music is a music store located on a lively street in the Saint-Laurent area, specializing in oriental instruments and all related services, maintenance and even after-sales guarantee.
The goal of this project is to meet the needs of Middle Eastern musicians in the region. We have a friendly, knowledgeable staff ready to offer advice and honest recommendations to everyone, from the beginner to the professional working musician. Spiro Music offers music lessons, taught by experienced and patient instructors.
